- Properties
3003 aluminum sheet is mainly widely used from 3000 series aluminum alloy. It’s well known because of the high rust proof level.
As shown in the form above, 3003 aluminum plate is mainly composed of manganese element, content between 1.0-1.5, which is a series with good anti-rust function.
So it’s commonly used in air conditioning, refrigerator, car under humid environment. Compared with 1000 series alloy, the price is higher.
- Applications
3003 is used for machining parts that require good form-ability, high corrosion resistance and good weld-ability, or require both these properties and higher strength than 1000 series alloy.
Such as kitchenware, food and chemical products processing and storage devices, tank for transporting liquid products, pressure vessels and pipelines.

- As we can see the element table above, the main difference between 3003 and 3105 is chemical composition and the mechanical property.
- 3105 and 3003 3105 has better conductivity than 3003, which is 41% conductivity. Besides, 3105 aluminum plate has high plasticity in annealed state, good plasticity in semi-cold hardening, but low plasticity in cold hardening.
- So the application areas are: room area division wall, color coated aluminum base sheet, lamp shade, louver leaf, wine caps, bottle stoppers, etc.
